Dead Animal Pick Up

The Division of Street Maintenance picks up more than 1,000 dead animals a year. On a daily workday basis, crews remove animals that have been killed in the road or other public rights-of-way only. The City does not collect personal pets that have died of other causes, or pick up dead animals on private property.
