Wednesday in the Park
The basketball court was being re-surfaced
AND the spray park is so almost done that there is a possibility that it may be open for use in the next two weeks!

Now that the park is getting spruced up is there any chance that the landscaping on the Buchanan Street hill into the park could be cleaned up? Maybe even terraced or retained with a wall? Seems like a "Walnut Hills Park gardening club" is needed.
Wasn't really being "anonymous" it was just the easiest way to post in a hurry. Maybe I have to register or something. Anyway, every time I go down Buchanan the sidewalk is covered in mulch and debris that has washed off the park hill. The first thing that needs to be done is build some sort of retaining wall along there to stabilize the hill. Then the gardening part is relatively easy. Would the city/parks dept have to build a retaining wall or can just anyone give it a shot?
