I had difficulty adding these to the main Graffiti post. The same applies. Let's catch these twerps! Maybe we can get them to clean it all up!

there has been alot of graffiti and vandalisms in the past week or so and it must stop its this type of behavior that can lead to bigger and more harmul activities, halloween decor theft and destruction has occured to many houses on Gebhart, and some on Gunkle and Colorado in the past week the kids at 27 Gebhart must be controlled as they have been seen stealing and vandalizing these things and when the police are called while they are sympathetic we on Gebhart are being told that there is not anything that can be done and as a result these kids activites are spreading to other streets.

After searching the tax records at www.mctreas.org I find that 27 Gebhart is owned by Arnold Smith AKA Areco Realty 51 N. First St Miamisburg, OH 45342 PH# (937)384-0735. If calling him at work to discuss his choice of tenant doesn't work then try his home at 819 Pinecreek Dr. Dayton, OH 45458-2124 Ph# (937)438-9440. I'm sure he would like to know what kind of people live in one of his many (over 100) rental units.

well Gary, as one of many concerned and frustrated neighbors on or near Gebhart St., I decided to talk to Mr. Smith. It turns out he has no concern about his tenants. His comment to me was, "well, sounds to me like you are complaining to me instead of calling the police". I informed him of the stealing, vandalizing properties, using golf clubs to destroy his porch as well as the porch next to them, breaking apart the sidewalk down Gebhart St., and the rocks, potatoes, eggs, etc. thrown on vehicles. He made it very clear to me, and I quote, "well what do you want me to do about it?, did you call the police?". We have called the police, but apparently that was a wasted effort. Someone caught the kids stealing Halloween decorations, so we decided that it would be useless to try decorating for the Holidays. We decorate for all the children to enjoy, not to vandalize and ruin the Holiday Spirit.

we also have been having problems with the kids at 27 gebhart, they run around unsupervised doing as they please , it is my understanding that when the mother is approached she screams and yells and does nothing other than get mad at the victom of her childrens violence, and I have myself on several occassions seen the mother walking around with bats and sticks in an effort to instill fear into her neighbors no large wonder these children are the way they are

is there a way using a current address to find out their last name in order to find out about past criminal activities, the ppl in question are very bad and dangerous what can be done?

Thank You

The white pages reverse look up currently reveals the person at 27 Gebhart to be Cindy M. Richardson phone # 256-7093. I would suggest that you verify that # and then give it and Mr. Smith's home # to all the neighbors on Gebhart, Margaret, Erie and Wayne in that vicinity. Next time there is a problem, besides calling police who won't do anything because the kids are juveniles and they will be coddled through the system, call the landlord and then the mother. They will soon tire of the neighbors calling. Don't be afraid to call either at 2 AM if the kids have woken you up. It is only fair since Mr. Smith doesn't live in the neighborhood and the mother isn't aware the kids are out. I would inform Mr. Smith after his # has been passed out that you have taken this action and that the neighborhood association will be looking carefully at the conditions of all of his Walnut Hills property to be certain that they are up to current housing standards. Let me know what happens so I can go look at his other houses. If you see the kids doing damage, document it and get a witness. They can be sued in small claims court but you will need to prove that the parent was neglectful. (ie. they are out after curfew.) If you suspect drug activity let me know.
